      Most recent Accreditation decision:  April 2021 - Initial Accreditation granted for period of three years with follow-up report due October 2021 to address description of lab components in Embalming and Restorative Art courses and to describe the method used to compute faculty release time.

      -June 2021- COA accepted and approved the follow-up report submitted early and acknowledged the Substantive Change naming a new Program Director.
      -October 2023 - Administrative Probation for failure to submit improvement plan for NBE pass rate.

    Re-accreditation:  October 2021 accreditation extended during Probation activity.

      Most recent Accreditation decisions: 
      -April 2020 - final approval of distance education program.
      -October 2021 - Probation. Topics to be addressed no later than October 2022 include: provide evidence of faculty training in on-line courses (Standard 6 and Appendix E); provide evidence of preceptor training (Standard 6.2.2); provide evidence of regular and substantive interaction in on-line courses (Standard 6 and Appendix E); provide evidence of affiliation agreements for each clinical site being utilized (Standard 7.2.4); demonstrate how course level assessment is used to improve student outcomes (Standard 10.2); demonstrate that student outcome data, complaint policies and stakeholder comments are reviewed (Standard 1.5); present a plan to improve student outcomes and clarify policy (Standards 1.5, 1.6, 5.3).
      -June 2022 - Probation issues satisfied. Return to Good Standing.
      Re-accreditation for period of seven (7) years from date of last accreditation.
      Mid-cycle review will be scheduled in 2025.
      Date of in-person follow-up to virtual visit will be determined.
      -October 2022 - In-person follow-up visit completed.
      -October 2023 - Substantive Change approved to replace Associate of Science degree with AAS.
