Candidacy v. Preaccreditation
The Committee on Accreditation of the American Board of Funeral Service Education may award Candidacy status to new
institutions or programs which, in the judgment of the Committee on Accreditation, demonstrate the potential to meet the standards for accreditation.
Please note that candidacy does not constitute pre-accreditation as defined by the U.S. Department of Education.
Currently there are no programs in candidancy (April 2023)
